Bridge
Turn one word into another, one letter at a time.
Bridge is a daily word ladder. You turn a start word into an end word by changing a single letter at a time, and every rung along the way has to be a real word. Par is the shortest possible path, so you can play it like golf.
How to play
- You start with two four-letter words: a start word at the top and an end word at the bottom.
- Add a word in between by changing exactly one letter of the word above it.
- Every word you make has to be a real word. Keep going until you reach the end word.
- Par is the shortest possible chain. Try to match it, golf-style.
Scoring and streaks
- Reaching the end word counts toward your streak.
- Match par for three stars. One or two over par earns two stars, and more earns one.
- A reveal-a-rung hint is there if you want it, and it never blocks you from finishing.
Sharing your result
When you finish, you get a spoiler-free result to share. It shows how you did, never the answer, so friends can be curious without spoiling their own puzzle.

- What is par?
- Par is the fewest single-letter changes possible between the two words. It is your goal, not a limit.
- Do I need an account?
- No. Play instantly. An optional free account only syncs your streak across devices.
