Planning
Slipway
Slide the blocks to free the trapped one.
Slipway is a calm daily planning puzzle. The board is packed with blocks, and each one can only slide along its own lane. One block is marked and stuck. Move the others out of its way so it can slide out through the gap on the right. The fewer moves you use, the better. Par is the shortest way out, and every day can be finished.
How to play
- The board is full of blocks. Each one slides only in the direction it is pointing, and only into an empty space.
- Drag a block to slide it, or select it and use the arrow keys.
- Clear a path for the marked block so it can slide out through the gap on the right edge.
- Use as few moves as you can. Touching a block counts as one move, however far it slides.
Scoring and streaks
- Getting the marked block out keeps your streak going and earns a star.
- Getting out within a couple of moves of par earns two stars.
- Getting out in par, the shortest way there is, earns three stars.
Sharing your result
When you finish, you get a spoiler-free badge to share. It shows how you did, never the answer, so friends can be curious without spoiling their own puzzle.

Common questions
- Is everyone’s board the same?
- Yes. The same starting board for every player each day.
- What is par?
- Par is the fewest moves the board can be solved in. A solver works it out before the day goes live. It is something to chase, never a cut-off.
- Can I get stuck?
- No. Every day is checked to be solvable before it goes live, and Undo and Reset let you back out of any line you do not like.
