Tessera

Tessera is a calm daily packing puzzle. You fit a tray of colored pieces into a target shape so it is completely filled, with no gaps and no overlaps. There is no time pressure: finishing is the win.

How to play

1. You get a target shape and a tray of colored pieces.
2. Drag each piece onto the board. Tap to rotate, and use flip to mirror it.
3. Pieces snap to the grid and cannot overlap or hang outside the outline.
4. Fill the whole shape with no gaps to finish. Rearrange as much as you like along the way.

Scoring and streaks

• Completing the shape counts toward your streak.
• Solve with no hints for three stars. A hint or two lowers the tier but never blocks you.
• There is no time pressure. An optional timer is just a neutral stat if you want it.

Sharing your result

When you finish, you get a spoiler-free result to share. It shows how you did, never the answer, so friends can be curious without spoiling their own puzzle.
