Wordity
Turn one word into another, one letter at a time.
Wordity is a daily word ladder. You start with one four-letter word and have to reach another one. Change a single letter at a time, and every word you make along the way has to be a real word. Par is the shortest way through, so you can play it like golf.
How to play
- You get two four-letter words: a start word at the top and an end word at the bottom.
- Write a new word under the start word by changing exactly one of its letters.
- Every word you write has to be a real word. Keep changing one letter at a time until you reach the end word.
- Par is the shortest chain there is. Try to match it, the way you would in golf.
Scoring and streaks
- Reaching the end word keeps your streak going.
- Match par for three stars. One or two words over par earns two stars, and more than that earns one.
- Stuck? A hint fills in one of the missing words for you. It caps the day at two stars, and it never stops you finishing.
Sharing your result
When you finish, you get a spoiler-free badge to share. It shows how you did, never the answer, so friends can be curious without spoiling their own puzzle.
